I am always on the fence when it comes to headbands. Could they be childish?
However for me they have purpose: turn a bad hair day into acceptable hair, hide those white hairs until dye day comes.
I recently read somewhere that not only are headbands back but now they're to be matched with the earrings.
I loved the idea. How did I not think of matching the earrings and headband before?
So, I dug around my accessories drawer and came up with this pearl headband and matched it with a pair of flower pearl chandelier earrings, similar here.
What's your stand on head bands?

I don't really wear headbands because they always seem to look a bit odd on me but I think they can be quite refined and not at all childish when worn a certain way (and I think you've pretty much nailed that).

I love the matching look! I don't think headbands are childish at all! :)

Esa idea me encanto! La de combinar mis aretes con la vincha. Yo estoy obsessed con ellas ahora!
I don't think headbands are childish, and I'm so glad the trend is backed. I love wearing headbands or head scarf. You look gorgeousin this whole look, so chic and effortless as always.

I always love headbands on others (like you) but I usually find it hard to make them look look even the ones I like the most that are scarf like.

That is a cute idea to match headbands to earrings! I don't think headbands are for me, I'm still experimenting with silk scarfs however.
Chic on the Cheap
I loathe headbands on me - I look like I'm about 12 years old when I wear one (and that's not in a good way!). They also hurt my head, make my ears look huge, and they slide out of my very slippery fine hair.
This is very chic on you, Lorena - you know I adore the matchy-matchy of the earrings with the headband! I think that if it were a coloured plastic headband it would look childish, but if it's a nice-looking one, and you're dressed like a grown-up, then it works. On you. Not me!
This is what I like :) Simple and fine.
