How did you choose the place you live?
In my case I never wanted to leave far from where I was born, in the heart of the city.
Being close to what home felt meant at one point the need to to sacrifice space for location. Finding something affordable downtown is not easy.  So we first moved to a brand new building, a small penthouse 11 streets from where I lived as a child. We had a beautiful view of the rainforest and the Pacific ocean.
After a few years the opportunity rose and we moved to a 1970's apartment building that has good space and is just 4 streets away from the street where my home was growing up.
So for me, the choice of where to live was a matter of location, being close to what home is to me.
I love my neighborhood, originally established in the 1930's it still had a lot of green and homes from the era.
How did you choose the to live?

Loving the blue with mustard yellow!
I was pretty much the same as you! I couldn't afford to buy a house in the same town I grew up in but we managed to find one the next town over and I'm only a 7 minute drive from my parents. Not particularly fond of the town, but it is close to everything and I love our house

I love the mustard yellow top with the blue printed pants! Such a nice combo! :)

I'm quite far from my parents at the moment - about 30 minutes. We picked a place closish to the city but that we could afford. My sister also picked a place close to her work but further from our parents. Luckily it's not too far of a drive for us to visit, but it is a shame we don't all live closer!

Hope that your week is off to a good start! I just posted my weekday wear linkup, I'd love you to join! :)

Blue and yellow always look awesome together! Great outfit.

I also live within a few blocks of where I was born! I live less than 3 blocks from where my mom grew up, where my mom and dad both went to school. I grew up in the suburbs of my city, but since I left home when I was 20, I have always lived close to town. My city is hugely expensive - we've been really lucky to get our condo when prices were lower.

I haven't strayed far from home myself. Sometimes I wonder if it might be worth it to take a chance and live somewhere new. Probably not L.A. though, this city makes it impossible to go anywhere.
