Beauty expenses

Silver bead bracelet Forever 21, similar

It's been a very agitated month.
I've had meetings, evening dinners and so on. As I was looking for coins in my wallet, I came across one too many receipts of my latest expenses at the hair and nail salon. Out of curiosity I began to add these up and I stopped adding when I realised I had spent over 150.00 USD in one month. This is a lot for me and can only wonder how much is your spending average at the salon for getting nails and hair done ?

It's crazy to think how much we can spent, mind spend isn't actually on spending time at the salon, it's on food. I workout lots so therefore need lots of fuel, it's costly!

It's great to treat yourself but just don't go overboard :) Life is all about balance.

I don't do my nails (aside from last year's 5-month experiment), so no costs for me there. My haircuts cost $65 each, but I only have my hair done every 6-8 weeks right now. That's my only beauty service expense.

I think if it makes you feel good, and helps you get through your frazzled life, the expense is worth it. Don't feel guilty for taking care of yourself. These little things are important!

I love the little pop of yellow from your shoes with this outfit! :)

I would love to have more time to be able to splurge on beauty treatments - for what it's worth Lorena I think that anything that helps you relax and look and feel great is a good investment! I've only ever had my nails done professionally a handful of times, but enjoyed it each time :) It's definitely not something you should feel bad about!

I wish I had more time to spend on myself! I only get my hair done a few times a year and I often do my nails myself at home. While it can get pricey, just value the opportunity you have to pamper yourself!

HaHa Lorena! Well right now I'm letting my hair grow out and I haven't been doing my nails. Beauty & Makeup is expensive. I took a step back this year and used a lot of what I have before buying anything new.
