Just three years ago I was hunting for a dress that I was to wear to formal fragrance event. It would have been simple if the event had been where I live or just a warm place. This, as I have at least two dozen long formal gowns due to constant weddings invites. However, the location of the venue totally changed the game as it was in Switzerland, at night and it would very likely be cold. On this very same day 3 years ago I tried on this vintage English dress that at the moment I had mixed feelings for. I did not buy it and now I totally regret it: #theonethatgotaway

Nah, I have to respectfully disagree. This dress is just okay. I don't think it really shows off how beautiful you are, Lorena. It might be fun to wear once.
For cold weather, the best things to wear are long gloves! They keep your arms warm, and still allow you to show off a nice neckline or shoulders. They also keep you from eating too much, as you have to peel them off all the time. Ha!
Keep your eyes peeled, it's a common style that you can probably find in a different colourway/pattern. Love the skirt colour.
I love this! It looks like a vintage Laura Ashley dress.
Have a great day!

It looks great. I am sure you can find something similar. Have fun at the event. xoxo Cris

I absolutely love that - it's so eye catching. Now I'm trying to think back to pieces of clothing that I passed on buying and now regret, I'm sure there's a bunch of them.

That is a beautiful dress!! Sad it got away, but maybe you'll happen upon something similar.

This is a beautiful vintage dress but I believed that you went for something better back then. Keep an eye on vintage stores you may find something similar. By the way you look beautiful as always.#

I have so many 'the one that got away' pieces! There are pieces I regret donating too. I have to remind myself why I let go of the pieces - it's easy to look back and think things were perfect, but there are usually reasons why we never thought the piece was perfect at the time we passed up the chance to buy it or got rid of it!
Hope you're having a lovely weekend! We got outside to enjoy the sun a little today which was nice, after a tough day yesterday with an unwell toddler!
