Peek a boo sleeves

Black blazer: Theory, similar Theory blazers here, here and in velvet here
Grey trousers Red Valentino, identical here and here, almost identical here, both waaaay cheaper than I bought mine for !
Plumeti or Swiss dot white bell sleeve top Stradivarius - Black bag Tous - Black patent shoes Zara

You've seen the trend: bell sleeves peeking or more like flowing out of jackets and blazer sleeves. I tried it and I liked it but I must admit it was not very functional.
During my business meeting the sleeves kept getting in the way as I typed in my computer, they also got in the way when writing and I won't even tell you about the adventure it was to eat while wearing them... all I can say is that all surfaces my bell sleeves touched were wiped clean.

Lol, I have been wearing floofy sleeves for years (they never went out of style in my closet!), and yes, they are a HUGE pain for actually being functional in! They're much better at a social event than at the office or for work. If you're going to wear a blouse with sleeves like this, it better be a washable one!

Great outfit, Lorena!

I can definitely see how their functionality would be a touch compromised, but they really are pretty special and look wonderful paired with those lovely pants and blazer.

I roll every pair of sleeves up to my elbows ... so this would not work for me at all.

Such a shame it's not a practical look as I really like the sleeves peeking out from under your jacket - it's a lovely look!

¡Hola, Lorena! Las mangas de la blusa y el blazer conjugan a la perfección... aunque ya había pensado yo que no sería muy funcional, y tus palabras me lo confirman! jejeje

Un beso y feliz semana,

I can imagine they would get in the way! Pretty, but maybe impractical. I love this look though. Maybe not for a work day would be better!

Love this styling, and the beautiful romantic blouse. I have also dusted a few surfaces with long bell sleeves! Every time I wear them, I end up rolling them up, or wrapping a rubber band around them to keep them out of the way. Sort of defeats their lovely shape! I have seen some really pretty short and elbow length variations on this look for spring, which is nice.

I think the sleeves are super pretty, though having a white sleeve basically drag along everything can't amount to anything good! Still, I'd probably wear it anyway.

I love the flared sleeve trend but I've definitely encountered the impracticality at work. Tough to give 'em up though!

First of all cool background! Retro style. Anyway I like trend with bell sleeves, I like when the sleeves stick out from under jacket, like in first picture. Bell sleeves blouses are fantastic, especially with long sleeves and I am going to catch a few new this season :)

Love how it looked with the jacket, but its true what they say - fashion is not always comfortable or functional
