Pleat skirt

Last time I set foot in a Forever 21
store was October last year.
Pleated rust skirt Forever 21 - Black sweater
One of the garments I purchased then was
this pleat rust skirt. I was sold at the price,
cut and the vintage vibe.

Black sandals Giuseppe Zanotti - Andy Bag Carolina Herrera
When I tried it on, the medium fit just right
and the large, well a bit big.
I chose the latter.
I figured I would have it tailored to fit
but it did not happen. I removed the
tags and it went into the bin for clothes
to ironed and after it was ironed, it went
to the closet where new garments hang,
most with tags still on ..

Almost a year later, unaltered, I
wear it - while I certainly need to
have it tailored, I figured I could
pull it off.

All I can say is that it felt better
that in looked.

The colour of that skirt is awesome. Autumnal shades of orange are my very favourite for that colour. What a great F21 find! The closest F21 to us is about 4.5 hours away, so I rarely get there these days myself either. I always to try pop in if I am near one though, as they do sometimes have the occasional hidden vintage appropriate piece.

Big hugs,
♥ Jessica

It's a lovely, classic cut and fab colour. I would never guess that it needs tailoring - it looks like a good fit on you. I have found a few good things second-hand from F21, but have never been in one of their stores!

This is good - elegant, classic. Everything is OK and I like it.
