Sometimes we see things so many times, over and over
that they just look normal to us, acceptable.

Black pencil skirt Apt 9 - Black short sleeve jacket Mossimo
This not only happens in our everyday life but also
in our closet, our clothes.
You love a sweater and you oversee that it's pilling
and keep it. Your favourite pair of jeans has a tiny stain
that you hope only you can see...
Black patent shoes Zara
Its similar with this black Mossimo jacket.
Even though I've had it for long and never wear it,
I did not see the reason why it doesn't get many wears…
That is until a fellow blogger brought it to
my attention: it's the puffy sleeves, they're dated.
I also realised that I am not good with jackets
that zip in the front.
Some oversights are intentional, others not.
Mine, in this particular case, totally unintentional.
therefore this jacket is headed to a new home.

I do like it, but yeah, I'm guilty of that too. I admire your resolve!

Aww it is a lovely jacket, puffy sleeves or not! :)

It's good it can go onto a new home, especially if it's not working for you any more.

Wise observation, dear Lorena. I think this puffy sleeve jacket looks super chic and pretty on you, but as always, if you're not smitten, it's best to let it go live with someone else.

I had a HUGE short, puffy sleeve blazer obsession a few years back. I've since purged them all, included the one I made, haha. But you are completely right, we become immune to things that in a different light we would totally reject.
