Orange & Vintage

This orange vintage dress has some history.

Orange dress vintage - Zebra print heels Bershka - Moustache earrings Forever 21
Purchased on line from the UK, it was two sizes too big
when received it at home and I tried it on.
(I am not good with vintage sizing)

From that moment, its been to two different
seamstresses to get adjusted about 7 times.

First it was the length, then the sleeves.
Afterwards the elastic on the sleeves had to be replaced.
Then it was the elastic on the waist.
Its been worn eight times since its purchase in 2009.
I think its time is due...

It's a vibrant, lovely colour that looks terrific on you, but as always, if you're not feeling it, there's no sense in hanging on.

When buying vintage online don't go off size (e.g., size 10, or if we're talking pre-60s, size 14, 16, etc), but actual measurements in inches or cm only. It's how I shop for all my vintage clothing online. I have a whole post about vintage clothes sizing - let me know if you'd ever like the link, dear Lorena.

Big hugs,
♥ Jessica

I love the colour on you, but the style overall is not quite you. Time for it to go!

My first response, is keep it because it's such a great color. And you probably can wear it to many occasions. But if you're not feeling fabulous in it, then it's time to go shopping!! jodie
