Top One: Fantasia

Yesterday I took all of my tops out of my closet.
I did not dare to count, but as I arranged them
back into the cramped space I chose to leave
some of them out.

Jeans Liz Claiborne - Purple animal print top Fantasia -
Brown wedges Kenneth Cole Reaction  - Brown Madison bag Coach
This was one of them, a one shoulder purple and animal
print top that has been twice in seven years.
A garment like this just takes space.

So I tried it on and asked myself why is this top never worn ?
Well, for starters I hate strapless bras and in this
particular case its required.

I went out to family gathering with it only to realise that
the elastic on this top totally stretched out…
So, this is the last you'll see of it.

There's that awesome brown coach bag! It's massive, makes it an even better bargain. I'm so jealous, we never have sales like that here! I got a 'very special' $50 off sale offer from Coach just the other day, ha! That's our kind of sales...

Good luck with getting rid of some of your tops! I'm trying to be the same way with all the tops I have - I have too many so if it can only be worn with one thing or it needs a special bra/special consideration....I'm trying to get rid of it so that I just have 'grab and go' pieces that work with more things :)

I hate strapless bras too :) I recently cleaned out my closet too and it feels so good to keep pieces that work well :)

LMFAOOOOOO! As I was reading, I said I bet she's going to get rid of it. HAHAHAHA It looks great on you Lorena! The color and print are so pretty. Shame about the elastic.

It's good to purge sometimes, there's no point in hanging on to things that don't look good, fit anymore, or work for you. Great job!

Buh-bye fun top! It's a cool mix of colours, but if the the elastic is shot, it's definitely best to let it go.

How do we end up with tops like this? They never get worn, but we don't want to give them up! I am guilty of this too.
