Diane von Furstenberg

Even though I am not wearing anything from
Diane von Furstenberg, her Spring 2011 collection
did serve as inspiration for the outfit I am wearing today.

When she presented this collection back in the day,
I fell in love with the pattern and the colors used.
Specially the mint -

Worthington printd skirt - White t-shirt Jones New York -
H&M black cardigan - Black shoes Daniblack
These images reminded me of a skirt I
purchased in JC Penney sometime last year.

Mint, black and white....

I can only wonder if the Worthington designers,
the makers of the skirt were also DVF inspired.

When it comes to fashion I always wonder what
came first, the chicken or the egg.

We've only had her for a little over a month :)
And the ring on my pointer finger? It's a spoon ring that used to belong to my mom, it's actually not supposed to be worn there but I've worn it that way for years (before midi rings were cool, haha)

That is such a lovely skirt, can definitely see the resemblance to the DVF collection :)

Very chic, sophisticated outfit, dear Lorena. I love the turquoise in your skirt coupled with the glistening sheen of the gold and elegant cream of the pearls in that wonderful necklace.

At this point, I just assume everyone is copying everyone else, and that nothing is truly original anymore - and in that same vein, no one should get the credit for doing it first. I mean, did DVF really design the very first graphic print with the colors mint, white and black?
