It had been a while since I had a seventeen hour day.
Today was one of them.

It included going to an awards ceremony with the city mayor,
some press, running to work - then running out of work to
another meeting ... that ended at 8:00 pm and then
attending another meeting afterwards.
I am just glad not all of my days are like this.

and add the word productive.

When I used to work 2 jobs, I would do an 8 hour day at an office, then worked another 4-5 hours at my retail job. I also had my university exams on top of that. Ugh, I never want to do that again!
Wow, you're a real workhorse. I sometimes have to put together very long days. While I can do it, I find I collapse the next day. Our bodies can only take so much.

Hm, my work goes in spurts. Some weeks I put in 20 hours and some weeks it is 40. And, then, at mid-terms I may work 60 hours before all the grading is done.
WOW You look Great despite having a 17-hour day. Beautiful dress, that color looks amazing on you. It looks like you have a very important, leadership job. =)
Well, you know I pull a 15-hour work-day currently, once a week, either on a Saturday or a Sunday so you know how I feel. My longest work-day has been about 16 or 17 hours and from what I remember, yes, it was productive.
