Old definition

This week I've been asking myself how

old the clothes I am wearing are.

To my own surprise everything is pretty recent,

which feels kind of odd, because I always think that

I have a closet full of old clothes. 

DKNY black jeans (same as yesterday!) - Black and white houndstooth tshirt Target - Liz Claiborne belt
white blazer ENC The Rich Hippie Commune - Black and silver flats - Silver padded bag 

Today I have a 2-3 year old pair of jeans, white blazer which is about 8,

bag about 2-3 years old, the houndstooth t shirt is about 2-3 years, the shoes about 3-4.

These little exercises make me think.

So, then again "old" in clothes language could be many things.

It could be old from being in the closet but maybe it's never been worn.

Maybe it's old but only worn once.

It could be old because its vintage but its new to you.

The other definition of old could mean it's new but worn to death, 

so it's gotten old.

I could ramble on and on, but I think you pretty much get it:

it all depends on you, so as they say the "truth is in the eye of the beholder".
