It could very well be a vintage bracelet or an old jar.
The fact that an item has been used before for every day needs,
- not for decorating - but as a functional item makes it
even more interesting to me.

So when I stumble (on purpose) on an item that just rings my bell,
I can only hope it's affordable and light enough to carry in my suitcase.
Lucky for me it was: this 1900's wooden wall phone came home with me
from Peru a few years back.
It now sits in my living room and I can only wonder....
how many good news and bad news were shared over this
little one.

I love old things, too. Your skirt is adorable. I have a similar one (with a poignant story behind it) but the skirt looks better on you.
What lovely found objects! I too love vintage items in my house and wardrobe. I like it when an item has a story to go with it.

Haha, I'm often interested in antiques as well, but I mostly go for stuff I can use in the kitchen; especially my pyrex bowls from the 70s, haha.

I love old things too like vintage Singer sewing machines and old school type writers. I would have snatched the phone up in a second if I could afford it!

I'm with ya on vintage, although it seems harder and harder to come by as the stores get picked clean. But when you do find something and there is a story attached it's meant to be!
