Every time I wore these printed trousers I felt like I had to make a huge effort to make them work, to make them look right, I got tired one day and sold them.

Yeah, some pieces are like that - they're awesome, but they take so...much...effort. I get it. Let the pants go!
Oh they are such beautiful pants! But I agree with you and Sheila, if they take too much effort to make them work in an outfit it doesn't make sense to hold onto them!
