Lately I make things to look forward to. Small, yet attainable things that will keep me moving.
For example closet edits, I love them, but not mine. I like editing other people's closet. I can be objective and ruthless because there are not feelings attached. This I cannot do with my own closet. I know when I bought it, how much it cost, or who gave it to me or where I was when I wore it last... yeah, I am like that.
Nevertheless now that we are allowed back in the office and I am actually getting dressed to go somewhere, I am trying out garments I am uncertain of, so I can give them a final spin before choosing its destiny.
Today for example is this black turtleneck, its piling and a bit faded, odds are I will let is go.

Love your burgundy trousers. They're very chic and as good as a neutral in my books (though, I might be a touch biased 😄, as burgundy is my second favourite colour of all time).

I am also much more brutal about editing other people's closets - part of it, though, is that most people don't have as good quality of clothes as me (that sounds like I'm full of myself, but you know, you get good stuff and amazing quality when you shop second-hand!). It's easy to edit out a lot of cheap mass-produced clothes, which is what most people have.
I go through a black turtleneck about one every 2-3 years. As soon as they start to lose that crisp black they have to go! Good work on your editing, Lorena. I am going slowly on it this year, as I'm not shopping as much, but there are still a few things that I'm okay with letting go of.
