I am a museum kind of person. Love them. My first recollection of visiting a museum was at age 9 or 10 during a school trip, it was a museum that had dinosaur bones. I was smitten.
Then in school we had one of the teachers bring several exhibitors with World War II memorabilia, at the time we were reading The Diary of Anne Frank and I lived in Germany.  This is very likely one of the reasons I have a passion for all things WWII.

The original reason I wanted to visit Florence were several museums, one of them being the Palazzo Pitti. So on my first full day in this charming city, it was the place to go.

Did I tell you I also enjoy empty museums? Yes, I love it when I have them all to myself, so I was the second in line this morning and had the Palazzo Pitti to myself for at least an hour. It was quiet, lit and mesmerizing.

Do you enjoy museums?

I like your rust cardigan and it's great that you got to enjoy the museum to yourself for a while - how peaceful it would have been!

Hope that your week is going well :)

I know what you mean! I love museums, too, and especially when they are empty! You look wonderful in this relaxed look and young like a school girl!

Oh, I've been there! We also went really early in the mornings, and had most of it to ourselves, along with the Boboli Gardens. It was so pretty!

Love the outfit, and happy to see you're wearing good practical shoes! I liked Florence, but found it a bit touristy.

Lorena, what a great color combination! I love this look. I don’t get to museums often, but I do love them. I bet an empty one is very cool. It makes for great photos, too! Thanks for linking up.
