Bronze vintage key cuff worn with leather stud bracelet Coach, here another cool leather bracelet
This Mexican embroidered dress is a treat to wear. I bought it a few years ago in Mexico City and had it altered as it was much wider and much longer.
Not only do I love the its vintage vibe but, it reminds me of my grandmother's "lounge wear". Funny thing is a friend told me I reminded him of his very own grandmother, which now that I think of it is not much a compliment. But, don't get me wrong, I still love this dress and plan on hanging on to it ;)
Did anyone ever tell you that what you were wearing reminded them of grandma?

It's what our grandmothers called a "house dress", meaning they wore it around the house and not in public. I can't wear this style - all the gathers right above the boobs makes me look really wide, but I can see that in really hot weather this would be wonderfully cool to wear.
Cute dog!
Very nice! Hope to see you on my Fancy Friday link up party!
I love this dress! We went to Mexico a lot growing up with my grandparents, and I always had something like this. Makes me feel nostalgic.

It is a beautiful dress - I like the embroidery! :) My Grandma never wore anything like that so I don't get the reference meant there, but I do think it's a pretty dress!

Well, he could have had a very stylish grandmother! And that dress does look so comfortable to wear.
Even my daughter a couple of times has said I look like a grandma, as have other people, a handful of times lol. I just smile about it. Some grandmas are very stylish and I love that breezy Summer dress.
