| Vintage gold and velvet dog motive belt, made in Italy brand unknown |
A few weeks ago I went to the consignment shop one afternoon. I came across a belt that just called out my name, it was made of black velvet and metal gold tone dogs, possibly schnauzers. I examined, it looked old, yet in my eyes there was something special about it. I tried it on and it fit, so after making up my mind on taking this home I began to look for a brand. All I could find was a marking that read "made in Italy". Since then I have been asking others if this schnauzer dog look alike meant anything to them. So, now I am asking you: Do you have any idea who might be this belt's maker ?

It is such a cute belt! Sorry I can't help though, I have no idea who could have made it! I don't really know a lot of brands to be honest, most of my wardrobe is high street fashion :)

I'm so interested in this belt! I love it! If you ever find out who made it I would love to know. If I was to take a guess I would say it has the style of a vintage Escada belt.

Based on the rough edges from the mould on the gold/brass parts, I'd say this is a good quality knock-off vintage piece, maybe a copy of something like D&G or Versace from the late 80s.

I love this classic look, it is so chic and on point . The belt is very distinctive and a fabulous purchase. I don’t know the maker and Sm also curious. Whatever it is it is a treasure !
