Houndstooth print vest edited

White shorts Larry Levine - Black tank top - Houndstooth print vest Classiques Entier - Black flats Vera Wang Lavender
Black bucket bag Love Moschino, almost identical here

Of all previous looks of the Classiques Entier vest, this is my favourite one by far. The oddest thing is that its extremely warm outside and this vest is quite heavy as in fall/winter heavy. So even though it looks and feels good to wear, its just not practical. So yes, even though its only been in the closet since December 2015 and its been worn just five times at 4.28 USD CPW, its better for it to go sooner that later. What was the last thing you edited from your closet ?

I've gotten rid of a lot of cardigans. I had way too many and they're just not my style now.

Oh, it is a pity that this vest is so warm as it looks fantastic how you have combined this piece! What I edited last from my closet? A yellow blazer :)

Sad to see this vest go as I actually really dig it on you. I love the houndstooth and the way you styled it here.

I wasn't really feeling the vest though. You're looks are always pretty though. http://www.mrsqbeauty.com

I do like that vest but if it's not practical, I agree, it just doesn't get worn. I recently edited out a pair of leopard flats. I loved them and wore them to death, but they just got too worn out. I need to find a replacement pair!

why is it that so often outfits that look great are just not practical weather wise?
The vest work really well here!

You are so good about determining what should stay and go from your closet! I have been trying to get rid of things too mostly tops that don't get worn as often as they should!

I love the way that this looks but I know what you mean about pieces being impractical for the weather! I have a lightweight vest as an extra layer for outfits, I want my arms covered when it's cold so an autumn/winter vest wouldn't work for me.

I removed from dresses from my wardrobe the other day, so they were the last things that left. Still have to list them online!

Hope you are having a great week so far :)

Great closet edit, Lorena, two thumbs up! I love the houndstooth vest, but I know what you mean about items that just don't seem to work in any season. Also sad to see that the striped button up has to go-it looks so perfect with the thin striped jacket!

I really like this classic vest Lorena! It's so chic but if it's heavy maybe I would prefer it for fall winter. In Greece, not even then, as we barely have cold any more haha!
Hope you're great!

Such a great look as we transition from summer to autumn. Walking shorts are great to wear on the weekends especially during Indian Summer. #TopoftheWorldLinkup
