My Local MBFW Story

I was invited by a friend to a local
pre MBFW event, a small runway with
local designers. It was held one afternoon
at the new Mercedes Benz show room.
Blue dress Red Valentino - Bag Coach
Without much thinking I chose to wear a
blue dress that had been in the closet since
December, unworn. Happens its a garment that
wrinkles by just blinking... I found out later,
when I saw the event pictures.
Grey heels Vince Camuto - Gold pendant vintage
The real story here is that this was one of the
first Fashion Week event I attend so I was
just looking forward to it. We arrived, said
a few hellos, took pictures and after
getting drinks and just standing around for a while,
someone comes up to me to tell me to
put my dress downAnd pulls it.
Happens since the moment I walked
in my bag had been holding my dress up and my
entire thigh and underwear were on display...

I died a little a then.
I laugh a little now.
Never take yourself too seriously.

Good for you for laughing that off. :) I love this dress on you! The color is exquisite.

Oh no, betrayed by your own dress! I'm glad you're able to laugh about it, it must have been so embarrassing at first!

I do like the red and blue combination with the bag and dress although it's not likely you're going to wear them together again!

You look gorgeous Lorena! This color suits you so great, and I love how you paired it with neutral grey pumps and your pink bag! Perfect for your first Fashion week event :)
I hope you had a great time and I am glad you can laugh about the bag holding your dress up, totally agree that we don't have to take ourselves that seriously!
Love this look! Thanks for sharing and have a great weekend! xoxo

Oh my. Well you have me a good little laugh just now! I suppose we need to be thankful for the people in our lives who will tell us when we are flashing the world; better to know than to have people say nothing out of politeness.

Oh my gosh, you poor thing! I'm really sorry that happened to you. Serious props on being able to laugh about it already. You're a shining example to us all that it doesn't pay to fret over embarrassing moments.
