Hair sticks

Polka dot trousers Worthington - Black turtleneck sweater Pierri New York
Black flats Me Too - See by Chloe Harriet tote bag - Hello Kitty necklace
I'm the first one to put my hair up with whatever I have around. Wether it be a pen or pencil, bread twist wire ties, a piece of thread, you name it.. so when I came across these very old asian chop sticks in my hair accessories drawer, I thought I'd wear them, maybe soon they'll be back on trend as almost everything is. If not, who cares, at least they served a purpose.

I have very layered hair and I can't do anything like this. I'm jealous! So cute!

Those polka dot pants are so fun! I've always admired people who can put their hair up with chopsticks--I can't figure it out!

Towards the end of high school and for a few years after, chopsticks were my go-to hair accessory. I wore them every day, had dozens of pairs and well, I never wore my hair down before I got a flat iron in 2004.

I like these polka dot pants, I think they are just the right size dot.

Ahhh, the memories! I so, sooo recall when Asian style hairsticks were all the rage in the 90s. I rocked some myself then and felt wildly sophisticated (I was a teen at the time) in doing so. I still think they're an elegant and very alluring accessory and hope that they do get their moment in the sun again. It's fabulous that you still have some and are here to remind us of just how awesome they look.

xoxo ♥ Jessica

You look better with invert combination in some in the latest post - spotted top, plain pants, BUT it dont mean it is bad, NO - this is nice too, but, but... but maybe this spots is to big? And therefore pants is no such elegant as it should. Nice turtleneck, I like it, I used turtlenech (white) in some of my latest look, but I dont happy about it (honestly) - when I looked pictures in home I realized that it has to big neck :(
