Flashback to April 2014 in a dream-come-true
vintage store in Buenos Aires... there she was:
A light pink silk Chinese button up blouse.
I fell in love the moment I saw her.
Took her home, wore it once and that
was it. Happens that as much as I
loved her, she was not easy to wear.
White trousers Red Valentino - Grey heels Vince Camuto |
So I tried again and again.
Jean skirt Zara - Brown wedges Kenneth Cole Reaction |
Only to realise that if I must force myself
to wear it, well, its just not working.

I've had several pieces like that - they're just so beautiful and yet so difficult to actually enact. It's so frustrating!

It is a really pretty top, but it makes you look wide in the hips. I also find that those tops have no stretch, so that also impacts how much I wear them. I need stretch!
I can relate to a piece like that. Sometimes makes me wish that I didn't have to dress for work or life or functions, but just dress for the blog, for the fun, for the love.
Isn't that the truth? I've had a few "unicorns" like that over the years, too. Live and learn, live and learn. :)
