I've had this tube top for ages.
Worn maybe 4 times in over 6 years.
Jeans Liz Claiborne - Black striped tube top Charlotte Russe |
Black blazer Theory - Grey heels Vince Camuto |
I figured I'd give it one more try, this time
styled under a jacket for work, served as a
reminder that anything that requires a strapless bra
should always be reconsidered before entering the closet.
Some things are not worth the hassle.

Wow I wouldn't have guessed that was a tube top, you made it look so sophisticated! But I agree... I'm not a fan of having to wear a strapless bra either.
I love a blazer over a more casual top to make it work for the office! :)
And yes, I agree, if it requires a special or strapless bra to be worn, it doesn't get worn much so I've stopped buying things like that.

Yup, let it go. If it's too much trouble, it's just something you're going to avoid wearing...and then, what's the point in keeping it?
You are quite right. This year I finally got a strapless bra that I can stand. I'm not going to sing praises to the moon and back, it's 1) a bra and 2) strapless BUT I have welcomed strapless and spaghetti strap pieces into my closet this year because of it.
Chic on the Cheap
This might seriously be the most sophisticated way to style a tube top of all time.
