I could have sworn I had
worn these two garments
together, I hadn't.

White shirt Calvin Klein - NYDJ trousers / jeans |
In my constant editing, last
month I figured I would try
to focus on whites. Just edit whites.
Brown wedges Kenneth Cole Reaction - Brown sunglasses Michael Kors - Brown tote bag Coach |
Particularly white tops, which
I have too many of. These include vintage
blouses, t shirts, button downs, peasant
tops, see through blouses..
For example, this one, worn at least 9 times since 2011.
Today is its last wear.
Slowly but surely I will get through every single
one of my white tops. Just sit and watch ;)

sometimes a nice white top is fab! it looks so clean and simple.
i can't even remember the last time i wore a white top. must do that soon!!!
and thank you again for your sweet comment and advice -- i appreciate it!
I can't tell what the fuzziness is down the front of this top, but otherwise, it's just kind of boxy. I'm a little "meh" about it. I've just gotten into a white top phase, so they seem to be accumulating in my wardrobe, especially lace ones!
I think that concentrating on one area of your wardrobe is a good idea. I'm kind of just haphazardly wearing things when I think they haven't been worn in a while, and I'm probably not editing as much as I could as a result. Easier to compare a white top to the other ones in your wardrobe to decide if you like it more or less if you've been wearing them recently!

That's a really, really smart way to tackle editing one's closet (by colour). I arrange my closet and dresser drawers (and to an extent, my jewelry, too) by colour (and type of item), but don't recall having edited based on such. Total light bulb idea there, dear Lorena, which I'll definitely be borrowing (thank you for it!).
