Tough love

One of the most difficult things for
me to get rid of: shoes.
Black trousers Mossimo - Black tshirt Daisy Fuentes
It's one of the very few things I
literally wear out and for some reason
give it a zillion second thoughts before
letting go. Even more than clothes.
Sometimes in order to extend their lifetime
I will take them to the cobbler have
them resoled, dyed, glued or even sewn.
Light grey long vest Valette
Also by the time I do decide to part with
them they've been through hell and back,
meaning they're pretty useless.
Zebra print heels Bershka - Black bag Tous
Right now I have a few of these that I
must get rid of.
How about you ?

What is the most difficult item for you to edit
from your closet ?

Love the white vest with the black outfit! :)

I find getting rid of anything from my wardrobe difficult. I like everything in there or I wouldn't have bought it so it makes it difficult to let go! Have to say that scarves are the one thing I rarely ever remove. Once they are in my wardrobe, they stay. That's a problem as I have so many of them...ha!

I have a lot of trouble getting rid of worn out items that I love. It's not too often that a run a shoe completely into the ground, but I try to take care of them, especially getting new heel caps before they wear to the metal.

Love this white vest, what a great piece to layer.

Oh my word, do I hear you there. I have very hard to fit feet (in no small part due to crazy high arches - I could have made for a prima ballerina off those arches alone, lol! ;D) and it's not uncommon for me to have to try on, no joke, a couple hundred pairs of shoes or more to find one that even slightly fits me comfortably, so when I do hit on a winner, I keep those babies until they're on the shoe equivalent of life support (and often then still keep wearing them...). I'm sorry that you're having to part with some much beloved footwear at the moment, dear Lorena. Fingers crossed some beautiful new pairs come your way soon to help fill the gap that their loss may leave your closet (and heart!) with.
