Looking back

As I was ready to walk out the door
I looked in the mirror and felt this outfit
was little too much Saturday for a casual Friday look.
Top Personal Identity - jeans Gap - Yellow heels Tsubo - Blue bag Zara
I went back and grabbed a black blazer.
Black blazer Theory - Teal sunglasses Kenneth Cole Reaction
Never looked back.
Sometimes you really are
better off not looking back...

I love the colors in this look, especially those fun shoes!! The blazer does dress it up, but I like it both ways!

Isn't that the truth? Granted, I spend a lot time doing so via my love of vintage, and am the first to admit to being a very nostalgic person in general, but I do believe that it's often wise to not look back and to stand behind the decisions that you made, whether they were ultimately right or wrong, in the moment.

Great call on adding the blazer.

I love the simplicity of a blazer to dress up an outfit a little more - I agree with Shea, it looks great both ways but the blazer works perfectly to make it work for an office.

I think your instinct was right!! To me, the blazer adds more style to the look! But I absolutely love the orange shoes!!

Yes, dear Ivana, sometimes you are really better not looking back :) But the black blazer was a good choice and I understand you grabbed this balzer additional on this casual Friday as I have personally also sometimes this feeling (honestly not only on casual days ;)). You look good in both versions of your look and I love also the amazing bag!
Have an amazing weekend!

Because I can be casual at work, sometimes I too feel like I'm a little too casual - especially when I'm writing up my blog posts, I usually tag outfits 'weekend' or 'office' style and think 'oh yeah, cute weekend look, but I 'd worn it to work instead.

I think blazer worked perfectly ;)
