You may recall this dress from a while back.
It was one of the pieces 3.1 Philip Lim designed
for his collaboration with Target in 2013.
Wore it today and chuckled a bit when I saw how
very long it was on me compared to the model.
For me, it hit a little below mid calf, almost long
enough to make it a formal dress.

So, I added a slip, rolled it up and
had the sweater sit at the hip.
Took it to work with a large handbag (above) then
to a family dinner with a small vintage one (below).

Got me through the day and night,
although I have to admit there was
some tugging involved..

Such a pretty dress! That was one of my favorite collaborations! And yep, things are always WAYYYY longer on me than models because I'm so short, hah

That is such a cute outfit and you look wonderful!
Sweaters over dresses is such a cool look. I was really getting into that last fall.
One would never know by these photos that your dress isn't actually that length. Very good style hack job!

Me encanto! Llevo tiempo buscando un vestido así. Super práctico - de la oficina a una cena.
It might have been a bit of a hassle to wear, but it looks great on you! :)
That's the problem sometimes - things look great in photos but aren't the most comfortable when we are wearing them, yet we look at the photos and decide to keep muddling on with them, haha!

It is a really lovely look, casual but comfortable and very cute. I love your pendant too. Glad you were able to make it work. though I must admit, I can't stand it when my look is fussy and constantly in need of readjustments.
