A few years ago I did a shopping ban.
It was set out to last for a year, however
at 6 months I succumbed.
Black bag Tous - Cardigan DKNY Pure |
The garment responsible for this was a
DKNY Pure convertible cardigan which I am
wearing today.
Black leggings Bershka - Black tank top - Black patent flats Viascar |
I've been trying to get more wear out of it lately
however I feel it lack of structure makes me look
disheveled.
Disheveled is the last thing I need.

I love the colour, but yeah, I'm really leaning towards more structured garments lately. I remember when you did that ban!

Wow the fact that you could stay on the ban for 6 months is admirable :) Love the color of this cardigan.

I think six months is really good. Commendable. Better than I could do anyway. Now the question is, was this cardigan worth breaking the ban for?
Chic on the Cheap
Even though it wasn't your goal, 6 months is a pretty great achievement!
I really like that cardi on you, it's so nice but I understand if you're not enjoying wearing it. Our tastes change so often, it's natural that our likes and dislikes in our wardrobe change too.

I never do well with pieces that lack structure but I think this looks really nice on you (and the color is amazing). I'm also really impressed that you lasted 6 months!

Personally, I think you wear this well and I do not think you look disheveled at all.
What a gorgeous coloured garment. The hue alone would have tempted me, too. Have you tried belting it with a really structured, classic medium to wide width belt? That might help it feel more fitted and less "disheveled".
