Whenever I buy something at a vintage
flea market, one of the many things that
cross my mind is how old it is.
Burgundy trousers Valerie Bertinelli - White tshirt - Navy blazer Forever 21 - Grey shoes Vince Camuto |
Most of the time, I can make an educated guess,
however when it comes to this necklace, I am clueless.
Vintage necklace - Nail polish L.A. COLORS Tropical Storm |
It was purchased in Argentina, no markings are visible,
has a screw barrel fastening and the beads are plastic.

Any vintage costume enthusiasts out there ?

1980s, I'd say, Lorena. Those little interlocking grey flowers are familiar to me from that era.
Burgundy trousers are looking sharp!
I love getting unique vintage finds, though I'm very uneducated about them.
Chic on the Cheap
Hi lovely Lorena, what a terrific vintage necklace find! I would tentatively peg it as a 1960s piece, particular due to the clustered flower beads and length, but it could be as recent as the 80s (again, the sixties are my gut feeling guess based on these photos).

i love love love vintage. some of my favorite pieces of jewelry are from my grandmother. they just have a different feel, a different style, and different materials. just fun. and often times they feel more unique/special/different than things that are more "current". but i like it all (old and new), and it is fun to mix and match and be creative with it!
