At La Merced

This happens to be the church where my great grandmother married
almost one hundred years ago, La Merced.

It also happens to be the church my cousin got married in today.

Dress Camille La Vie - Christian Siriano black heels
I had purchased this dress with this wedding in mind.

Unfortunately for me, I gained some weight which led to
the dress not being as comfortable to wear as the day I tried it on.

Gold tone hair comb Dolce & Gabbana                               Bug earrings from Peru

Even with this small inconvenience, I had the most amazing time.
 Gold beaded bag vintage
I love weddings.

That dress is beautiful on you! Love the colours, and it's perfect for a wedding!

How awesome to have a church with so much history as well. We don't have much like that here in Australia, it's a pretty new country and everyone moves around a lot!

Well you look gorgeous in it none the less, and that is so beautiful that they got married in the same church as your grandmother. I love the idea of a living history.
