Dress with a journey

This dress has been around for a while.

Cremeux grey and yellow dress - Grey and yellow pumps Kelsey Dagger
First I bought it knowing that the zipper in the back needed to be replaced.

Venezia bag
Afterwards I had to hunt down a yellow zipper and then
took it to the seamstress for her to replace it.
She sat on it for at least a month.

When it was finally repaired I took it home and then had
to wait for it to be ironed, so much back and forth it was wrinkled.

When it was finally ironed and in the closet I tried it on several times.

It was tight and did not fit…
However today its working, I am finally wearing it.
What a journey !

HaHaHa Lorena! I had an outfit like that. I finally can get into it. That dress is gorgeous and was definitely worth the headaches. You look beautiful. Merry Christmas doll.

Wow what a difficult to wear dress, haha! I'm so pleased you were able to wear it out at last, it looks stunning on you, worth the wait!

So nice accessorised with the yellow too :)

Hope you had a wonderful Christmas!

it is such a cute dress, and this story is pretty much the reason why I've had to tell myself to stop brining home 'fixer-uppers' because usually by the time they are ready to wear I've had them hanging around for a year.

Though you do have the most perfectly coordinated shoes, so this outfit just had to happen!

Uber cute outfit, sweet Lorena. Not surprisingly, I'm sure, I absolutely adore the classic mid-century vibe that it's giving off.
