I keep two small boxes with fibulas.

In one I keep the silver tone, in the other the gold toned.
I realized that I don't wear my fibulas that often,
so I decided to wear one of them today
(oh, and I also wore one yesterday).
Can you guess what a fibula is ?
I just learned this fancy word today and thought
I'd share it with you !

Isn't it a bone in the leg? Tibia (shinbone) and fibula (the rest of the leg)?

As others have said, I know it as a leg bone - but am thoroughly intrigued to know if it has another jewelry meaning, too.
Both of these accessories are wonderfully pretty - I just love the way the beads and pearls dangle from the bracelet.
