I live very close to the ocean. Have been going to the beach for as long as I can remember. Nowadays, I usually go about twice a year and when I say "go" I mean I get to the beach, walk on the sand but I don't actually get in the water. Which is what I did this Saturday, just went to the beach.

I guess it's what happens when you can go anytime you want,
you just never go.

Awww. You're always so busy or being invited somewhere it can be hard to do. Love your dress.

I haven't been to the beach in ages! Loving the stripe dress
We're spoiled to have not one, but two lakes here in our town, and I grew up in the water so much, it's amazing I didn't start to grow gills like a fish! :) Swimming is beyond the scope of my health these days, but I still love spending time in the sun and dipping my toes in the water at least a few times each summer.
Wishing you a joyful May, dear Lorena!

If i didn't go all summer to take my outfit photos, i might not go as often as i should. yet, i can not even fathom ever living somewhere i wasn't 5 minutes from the water.
so true!!!
when i first moved to southern california to go to college, i went to the beach every week (about an hour's drive each way). that lasted for about a year.
now i hardly ever go. i LOVE it, but i do not love the drive, the parking hassle, and the crowds. but i still love the beach.
i hardly ever get in the water either!
