I stumbled upon this blue and gold button down shirt
a few months back while in a thrift store.

I liked it because there is nothing in my closet like it.
It is not something I would wear, which seemed appealing as
it would be "out of my comfort zone".
Another reason I probably bought it is because of the brand:
Marc by Marc Jacobs.

This morning I took it out on its debut.
The shirt is itchy because of the gold threading...
I feel it is a little loud but I think it was what I was looking for:

Definitely a bold top - and I love that you are stepping out of your comfort zone.
Lately I feel like all I want to wear is black, tan, red, leopard, and stripes.
But I suppose it's worth noting that a few years ago leopard and stripes were out of my comfort zone.
