Looking out the window

I have been at my current job for 5 or 6 years.
Sitting in the same corner office overlooking the street
and traffic.

Red jeans Old Navy Sweetheart - Forever 21 gold tone necklace - Talbots button down shirt - Zapatinho de luxo beige flats - Michael Kors black bag -
Right in front of my window is a huge old house (the type I like) that has a magnificent tree on the front yard.
The home use to be a bank and has been empty now for several years.

I absolutely love looking at the huge tree.
It is home to blue birds, red and black birds, parrots, parakeets and
I swear this morning I saw something that looked like a hawk.

The house use to have a "for sale or rent" sign that was taken down last week.
Now mysterious men have been showing up every day.
They got on the roof at began throwing the old Spanish clay roof tiles
and breaking them on the ground... (don't they know people pay big money for this ?)

I hear as they roof tiles brake and can only wonder what will happen here.
Of course I'd love the house to stay but my main concern is the huge tree...

Beautiful post. I am surrounded by ancient oak trees and am blessed to see and hear the Hawks that reside in Southern California. Their cries during Spring and early summer bring me great joy. And for the fashion, your blouse is gorgeous.

Hey Lorena! I love your raspberry color jeans! :D They're awesome! That's ashame about the house. I understand renovation, but it's sad to see them revamp the entire thing and not consider the original architecture. Hope they don't bother the tree or the precious habitat in it. Keep us posted. Have a great weekend girl. :D

Oh, I hope they save the tree. Old trees are so beautiful. I love your colorful blouse today!

I hope they save the old tree too and that the building is just going to be renovated xx

That house is beautiful. And how wonderful to be able to see parrots! In my neck of the woods, hawks are commonplace, but parrots and parakeets are strictly caged birds. :(

I really like the colors you're wearing! Clearly, you have great color inspirations in the nature around you.
