Tsunami warning

I had set up this post about how I fear wearing
high waisted jeans and end up looking like
Mischa Barton or Jessica Simpson.
(If you google them, you'll know what I mean)
Liz Claiborne high waisted jeans . White ruffle shirt Off shore . Biviel red heels . Liz Claiborne tote
However plans changed as I got up this morning and
heard the news of the earthquake in Japan and the Tsunami warning.

I have real fear of few things one of them:
natural disasters mostly because of the lack of control
one can have over the situation.

Tree resin and silver pendant from Peru

So, we are in the list of countries that could be hit.

I am terrified as I live a block from the ocean.
There are no evacuation plans here....

Me fascino tu blog! que bellos trapos! me gustaron hasta las prendas que yo no me pondría, pero que te quedan bárbaras, igual es la primera vez que me pudo identificar realmente con alguien. very nice!!

Being on this side of the Pacific, I'm also in the Ring of Fire earthquake/tsunami zone. I live at sea level, so if a big one hits here, I'm toast, either from the earthquake (my city is similar to Christchurch, New Zealand, in terms of buildings and structure) or from the water.

However, we can't live in fear, Lorena. Every place in the world has something to fear from Mother Nature, but we can't live with that like a sword hanging over us at all times.

You look lovely in this - I love the jeans and the pendant, especially.

no te preocupes ;)
te mando un abrazo y buen fin de semana!

Oh, poor J-Simp; she will never live that horrendous outift down! Love the bangles, love the jeans, love the pendant. I also love Xanax which helps me when *I* start unneccesarily worrying about something that I have no control over whatsoever... which happens frequently.

I think you look lovely in this - the top with it's ruffles are so cute, and the rainbow bangles are really fun.

I hope you don't get hit by the tsunami - and i agree - natural disasters are really scary.
