This neon top dates from 2014, it was a gift, since then its been worn at least 9 times. Since neon will always make a come back I keep at least one thing neon in the closet, you know just in case.
Even if I let go of this top, I have at least two more neon items to fall back on. I know with all the closets being "MarieKondoed" there is not much space for items that are kept "just in case". Thankfully for me, Marie Kondo is just another show on Netflix. If it works for you, great. I'll always have something neon to fall back on.

Amen, Lorena! I don't get all this "throw things away" minimalism. If you like neon, then keep it! I think you look awesome in this outfit. Love the neon with the white shorts.

I can (and have!) decluttered every marie Kondo category and every room in the house, but I cannot do a big wardrobe declutter, it's just little pieces here and there, and I always hold onto pieces "just in case" too, haha!

I often find that when I hold on to old things, even if they comeback, I want their new iterations instead of my old. Like right now I'm seeing lots of yellow dresses and I'm thinking about buying a new one rather than just pulling out my old.
