I was driving out to a yard sale the other day and got lost. The sale was nowhere to be found. There were no signs and I was already heading back home when I saw this building, the forgotten Diablo Clubhouse. From what I've read it goes back to at least the 1940's and it housed a cafeteria, store, theatre, library, bowling alley, beauty salon, ball room, tailor and seamstress shop, shoe shop all at the same time ! If I had been around then, very it's very likely I would have been a recurring visitor. Nowadays, it's empty.

Oh it's a shame that you didn't find the sale, but what a lovely pieces of history to take a photo in front of! It does sound like it was a great place in its heyday. I like the red and green in your outfit too, perfectly Christmassy! :)
