The other day I read this post and was inspired to check out my own wallet. This one has been around for ages, it was purchased in NYC at least 10 years ago.
A feature my wallet must have is a separate place for coins. I do not require a space for a check book, I keep a blank check or two just in case of need.
The item I have kept the longest in my wallet is a 2.00 USD bill that my grandfather kept in his own wallet.
As you can see I have the very basics in the wallet, cash, coins, id card, driver's license, ATM, metro card and such. A few receipts and an unexpected paper clip. Honestly speaking, it usually has a lot more receipts but I cleaned it about a week ago.

I actually don't use a real wallet anymore. At the moment I'm using a pouch that came in my Louis Vuitton bag. I just have cash, my license, AAA card, a couple gift cards and credit cards in there, hehe.

My dad always kept a $2 bill too! He gave me one and told me that I'd only spend it in great need but it was important to always have it in case.

I use a men's wallet (Swiss Gear) so that I'm forced to keep what's in it to a minimum. I also require a change pocket! No cheques, though. I can't even remember the last time I wrote a cheque!
My wallet is crammed full of cards, haha! Life of a shopaholic means I have membership cards at so many stores and I carry them all around with me as you never know when you'll need them! It's why I love little bags, but have a limit to how little they can be as they have to fit my big chunky wallet! :)
Hope you are having a great start to the week and are making progress with your Christmas shopping!

What a cute post, Lorena! I may be fearful to delve that deep into my wallet. It is chock full of garbage, I suspect! And maxed out credit cards! Thanks so much for linking up!
