Beaded belt worn as necklace, similar - Wooden ball vintage earrings, similar |
I was about to edit this colourful wood bead stretch belt, however I wanted to wear it once more before doing so. I was not feeling it as a belt so I tried it as a necklace and then paired it with my extra large wood ball vintage clip on earrings. I was pleased with the results, so the odds are I am keeping it, now in the necklace drawer. Do you use the items you have only in the way they were intended to ? Or do you get creative ?

I love that you thought to do that - it looks awesome!

Those two items work really well together. I like your creative uses of jewelry. Your recent posts about using your pins in unusual ways was very entertaining, and I enjoyed them.
Lovely look...kisses...
That necklace in that dress look so great!

That's totally something my mom (the 70+ model on my blog) would do and it's brilliant. Now that I've seen this kind of thinking, I may be apt to try it!!

Oh I love this belt worn as a necklace! I was going to compliment you on your necklace too until I read I should be complimenting you on your belt! :)
I have a bracelet I've worn as a belt before, and a necklace I've worn as a bracelet, but overall I'm not as adventurous as I could be in my wardrobe!
Hope you are having a wonderful week so far :)

Sometimes I get creative but it depends on the piece. I love that your dress has pockets.
What a creative idea to turn that belt into a necklace--I think it totally works that way too. It's perfect with that gorgeous little black dress.
As usual amazing post! Thanks a lot for sharing)
Very beautiful.
That was a great use of that necklace. I'm trying to use things in different ways but I still have a long way to go to reach to your level!
That's so cool that the necklace is a belt! Love how you styled it!
