Same as yesterday, went for a white skirt and a black sweater, wonder if my co workers thought I was wearing the same outfit. If they did think that, nobody said anything.
As I am still hooked on pins and brooches, of course I added one to this outfit: a black stone flower cluster to the waist. Now that I think of it, the waist area is usually not one you want to draw attention to, so the pin would have worked better elsewhere.
Oh, I disagree! I love the pin at the waist - you have nothing to be self-conscious about, my dear. "The eye has to travel" as Diana Vreeland said!

ReplyDeleteAnd I know from your edit post you said you were getting rid of this skirt but I still like it! I dont' have any eyelet anything in my wardrobe any more and feel I'm missing out, it's such a summery fabric! :)

ReplyDeleteI have done pins on the waist often. Better than a belt sometimes. Just this past New Year's Eve I wore a jumpsuit where the bottom was black pants and top was a while sleeveless tank and I added two little silver brooches on the waist. I loved how it looked. That eyelet midi bucket skirt is gorgeous, Lorena!

I do love the eyelet pattern, but you are right about the fit, the previous days white skirt fits better.
