Ha! Well, it's not odd - it's practical if you intend to be buried! If you plan on being cremated, well, then maybe not so much!
ReplyDeleteThe oddest thing I've ever purchased is a terra cotta pig. It's the weirdest thing. I've had it since I was 17 - I saw him and fell in love. He's quite ugly, probably handmade, and he's never left me. I think he was around $20 back in 1985.
That is an extraordinarily good question, and you know, I swear, nothing super jumps out at me right away. My mind sort of veers towards some medical equipment I've required over the years, that feels so utilitarian in a way and not perhaps what your question was aiming for. I genuinely don't have an answer off the top of my head, but you can bet that I'll be pondering your query now this weekend.
