A half tucked shirt or blouse for me
usually indicates lazy and messy.
Today it means I did not want to wear a belt
and the shirt was a bit too loose to let be.

but not put together enough. Whatever that means.

Leaving the shirt untucked at the back,
means I didn't want to show my behind.
You would have never thought that messy
untucked shirt had so much thought put behind it!

Gorgeous coloured top! I think that the looser/flow-ier a shirt, the more it lends itself to the half tucked-half untucked look.

I love the half tuck. It just tends to work better, it's less likely to get all untucked after driving or moving arms in any way. You do look like you are trying, but not too hard, and you are showing off your waist when the top might otherwise swallow it up.
