Don't drink more than 1 glass of wine

Liquor is not a part of my life,
but that's just me.
I think rational and controlled drinking is acceptable.
In business dinners there is always a toast :)

Blue lace dress Forever 21- Melissa red shoes - Zara blue bag
My personal recipe is just to hang on to one glass of wine all night.
It's a way to "participate" in the toast, be a part of the event and keep all my senses intact.

I have seen people go overboard and become the event.
While there is a time for everything, a business dinner or event
should not be that time.

That dress is exquisite! I also abstain at business events, and at personal parties I do stick to one glass of wine (one and a half at the most) so that I do not embarrass myself : >

Gorgeous dress!

My husband and I don't drink, which I think makes it even more obnoxious when we have to go to his business dinners and people go overboard. Years ago my boss, who was male and married, got so drunk at a Halloween party at a bowling alley that he was trying to dance with my husband. It was pretty hard to have respect for the man after that.

Love your lace dress. Yes, agree. It's important to have decorum no matter WHAT (professional or not) type of event.

What a lovely dress! I do drink at corporate events, but I always leave before I feel tipsy (after 3 glasses of wine). It's also better to leave when it's still fun - don't be the last person there!

I don't think it's just business dinners! I think there are LOTS of places that out of control drinking just doesn't belong :)
