There are things we know we must not do.
In this case, the night before a big meeting.
However some of us learn these things the "hard" way.
Black trousers - Forever 21 Bow print shirt - Marc Fisher flats - Michael Kors bag |
I must admit it is very difficult for me to accept this
because I am usually very organized.
Happens that I had my henna (color) done last week.
It was a "new henna" I bought on my trip to Morocco.
Marshmallow asking for biscuits |
The henna did not color my hair as expected
and my roots remained uncolored.
This week, a series of work related meetings,
events and presentations are on my list, meaning
my hair had to be impeccable.
So last night I had to color it again, with
an unknown and never used henna.
Long story short: don't color your hair the night
before a big event, because if the color
is too red, well you just have to live with it.
(trust me it's red in person)

I have learned this lesson the hard way too! I once coloured my hair using a home hair colour the night before a job interview. It was supposed to be a medium brown but came out almost black! I had to go to the interview looking like Severus Snape. Thankfully, I got the job, but it definitely wasn't because of my good looks and beautiful hair...
ohhhh noo Lorena!!! one time i went too black. my hair was a nightmare and i looked like a ghost. this picture doesn't look bad, but i know how you feel. :( hope you're having a good day otherwise and everything went well. sending good feelings your way! ((HUG))

There should be warnings on hair color about this!! Seriously, though, you look beautiful. Things like this always seem worse than what they are. Enjoy your new hair color....you can make it work!!
Sounds like some good advice - but it looks pretty in the photos!
love marshmallow begging. too cute.

Hi Lorena, you are right and i myself had bad hair disasters! once had mauve hair!
Mr.D. does not take my picture very often, Most of the time i do my shoots with my tripod and remote, lots of work, easier when he does it!
adorable outfit! that top is so fun. <3 www.rubygirlblog.com
also... I'm starting a Fashion + Faith project over on my blog. Let me know if you are interested in being featured!
It looks good to me! Although I have had a similar issue...tried to dye my hair auburn once and ended up with fire engine red! Luckily, it was in the summer and I was only in school, so no one important saw me...
P.S. Marshmallow is cute.
OMG, I'm so sorry that this happened to you Lorena :(
I hope everything turned out alright. I'm sure you still look gorgeous with red hair!

Uy, uy, uy. It doesn't look bad in pictures, though, if that helps. I've been thinking about using henna to color my hair (tengo cinco canas que quiero cubrir) and now I'm so scared.
This is so cute. I love that blouse. Great pattern!

It looks lovely.
I think you look great. I also want to add to the don't list- don't get your eyebrows waxed by a brand new waxer you've never tried out before. I did this before a wedding, and looked surprised all evening.

I think your hair looks great, Lorena!
