Lavender dress J. Taylor - Red and lavender rose heels Valenti Franco |
Silver sequin clutch vintage - Red butterfly pin |
Otra vez means again in Spanish.
Back in 2012 I wore this dress to a wedding and it sat there for 8 years unworn. I did not want to part with it as I think its a very timeless dress. Then we were invited to Linda's wedding to be held in the morning and it required formal attire. If you clicked on the link you can see I was not was heavy so the dress was loose, but I actually wore the same shoes, which are also about 8 years old.
This is the reason I don't edit like Marie Kondo, I take my time and I have the space.

Well I love this combination with lavender and your red and Lavender shoes you look super feminine
It's a beautiful dress and the flowers on the shoes are such a great match! it's nice you could wear it again after so long. I can't Marie Kondo my clothes either, although I have never really had a lot of space. I have a lot more space now with my new wardrobe in our new place, which I am loving, but I'm trying not to add too much to it, haha!
Hope that your week is starting well :)

I LOVE the shoes and dress combo - your pops of red in your nails and the brooch on the bag (genius!!) really look fabulous, Lorena.
Dresses - especially gowns or party dresses - are in a special category, as they can be rotated out for a few years, and then brought back in and feel new. Take that, Marie Kondo!
I'm like you...you just never know. And your smile is so wonderful Lorena,

Such a pretty look, Lorena, I love the colors and those shoes are so perfect! It is a timeless look and is as fresh as when you first wore it!
Such a pretty dress, I love the colour - do stop by my blog and join the #chicandstylish #linkup Jacqui
Stunning! I am absolutely loving the accessories and their fun details and how great they go with the dress. I don’t purge my closet often either and I do find things that I will wear after they have sat dormant for many many years. I have the space, too, and I hate purging my closet. So be it!

The dress is just the thing for those special occasions. Such a lovely look! Definitely cannot apply Marie Kondo to those clothes you need, but not very often.
