I purchased this Missoni top sometime ago. Wore it recently with trousers and it felt and looked big and bulky. Now I am trying it over a dress with a belt. Have to admit it looks better on the pictures than it actually felt.

Ooh I think it looks really good! But I know what you mean about things photographing better than you think they look, haha. But good news is, it looked great to everyone who saw you in it!
I would try it with some skinny jeans + heels maybe and a black tank top underneath it? That way the bottom of you is smaller in comparison and the heels add some more length. That's usually what I do when I'm wearing a larger top/oversized sweater.

Dear Lorena, on the pictures your outfit looks really good! And I don't know if this is an outfit option for you but I would wear this top with cycling shorts :)

I agree with Closet Fashionista: it needs a skinny/slim bottom if it's that bulky on top. Skinny jeans, a long slim skirt?
I would not do cycling shorts (sorry, Rena!), although I would have back in the 90s! :-P
However, it seems like you are not really feeling it, so you know what I'm gonna say: consign it! Make room for something you love to wear!
It's a shame you didn't feel happy in this as it looks amazing, the top looks wonderful belted over the skirt! I really liked this outfit :)
Hope that you are having a good week so far :) We finally got a break in the heatwave last night and it was so welcome!

I think this works really well! It doesen't look too bulky, it looks like a cute peplum dress.
