If you've been around, you know I normally don't do sneakers. No matter how trendy and chic they may currently be. I think we have to accept wether something works for us or against us.
I think sneakers work against me, but this does not hold me back on giving them a try, this time with a dress. It's a trend I've seen done, sometimes magically, others not so.
Today seemed like the day to try it. In fact, I actually pulled this dress out of the give away bag (a total first!) to make this outfit come together.
If I had to rate it from a scale of 1 to 10, I think I'd be a 6 or 7. I want to know what you think, rate it.

A solid 8 from me, Lorena. It's the overall outfit vibe that I really like. The stripes, with the pop of orange, the bright yellow cardi (perfect), and then the nice rubber toe on the sneaks. A great way to try - and succeed! - at this trend.
I love this outfit - your vest adds a nice touch of colour and I'm glad you could get your dress out of the donate bag again! :)
This is the kind of outfit I'm frequently wearing, I love pairing Converse with my dresses.
