One of my favourite parts of putting an outfit together is the democratic process in it. |
White button down shirt Gina Tricot - Mint shorts Gap |
In this outfit, a store bought white shirt is paired with
a pair of mint shorts handed down to me from a friend.
Worn with silk flats purchased in Istambul and
a Matryoshka charm necklace from Forever 21 on line.
Here, two Italians meet: the Gucci shades
and the Cruciani wrap bracelets.
A second hand bag stands on its own.
A vintage ring stands the test of time.
They mingle.
It does not matter where it came from, it has
the same opportunity.

Love how you have styled this outfit. You look so pretty and adorable!
The half-tuck on the shirt is awesome. So stylish, casual, yet fully put together. Brava!
Very beautiful colours!!

This is a gorgeous mingling of pieces, and I love that they're from all over and both old and new. I love the color of those shorts with the crisp white shirt!
Lovely classic look! Those shorts are adorable!
I love it! And they mingle beautifully! Your silk flats are absolutely gorgeous!

I like when pieces from different times, places and price points all work together in an outfit : Clothes and accessories always have a story attached about where they came from and it's great to see them all 'play' together :)

Excellently said! I love that about fashion, too, and have never fully been able to wrap my head around the concept of not availing of every sort of fashion option, from thrift store to high end, that might be available to me. It's awesome to know that you feel the same way as well, dear Lorena.
