Today for example, I attended a seminar on
cultural patrimony.

So I kept it simple, warm and comfortable.
Then I wondered.
What would I wear if I had the opportunity to meet,
What would I wear if I had the opportunity to meet,
for example, Iris Apfel ?
While I am clueless on wardrobe, one thing I do know:
I would certainly take my black oversized sunglasses with me.

Ha, if I were going to meet Iris, I would wearing something suitably outrageous, but "me". I wouldn't want to look like I was trying to be her, or emulate her look.

I think we do dress differently depending on who we are going to be seeing that day. I always stress about what to wear to the hairdressers, oddly! I want to look nice but I don't want to look so nice that they think I have lots of time to get ready and give me an overly complicated haircut, haha!

Great question! I think that if I was meeting Iris, I'd go for something classic, boldly coloured, and at least one piece of standout jewelry. Redolent of her style, but still completely my own, too.
